Obituary Information
Jason P. Tigges, 22 years, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home in Halifax. Born and raised in East Bridgewater, he was the son of Maureen (MacTighe) (Tigges) Johnson and the late Douglas Tigges, Sr. He was the stepson of Donald Johnson. Jason was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, class of 2001 and at the time of his death he was employed as a truck driver by the Grant Steel Company in Holbrook. Jason enjoyed music, outdoor adventures, video games and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother Maureen (MacTighe) (Tigges) Johnson and stepfather Donald Johnson of Halifax, three brothers Douglas Tigges, Jr. Thomas Tigges and James Tigges, one sister Theresa Turner, two stepsisters Dawn Usowicz and Debbie O’Reilly, his grandmother Beverly MacTighe, godmother Cindy Foley, companion Maria Deluz, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the grandson of the late Charles MacTighe and Paul and Lillian Tigges.
