Obituary

Jean J. (Lovering) Bush, age 90, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at St. Joseph Manor following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roy Bush; daughter of the late Leon and Rena (Christie) Lovering and sister of the late Elsie Ahlstrand, Virginia Troisi, Leon Lovering, Mildred Lahti, Evelyn Estes, Shirley Mayers, Maybelle Myatt, Albert Lovering and Arthur Lovering.

She is survived by a daughter Rena Havens and her husband James of East Bridgewater, two grandsons James of Norton and Heath of Arizona; four great grandchildren, Faith, Kristine, Natasha and Gwynne; many nieces and nephews and best friend Peter Liz.

Born in New Hampshire she was raised and educated in Burlington, MA. She worked in Vaudeville and with the Hunt Brothers Circus. Jean was a family oriented, independent woman who was a friend to all and loved all animals.

A private family Christian burial was held in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in Jean’s name may be made to any no kill animal shelter.
