Jean M. (Dexter) Knight, 90, of East Bridgewater passed away on February 28, 2023 with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late William B. Knight. Devoted mother of Barbara Nadolny and her husband George of East Bridgewater, Sandi Baptiste and her husband Bill of Taunton, Steven Knight of East Bridgewater and James Knight of East Bridgewater. Devoted "Gram" to Lynsie, Lauryn, Lycia, Laikyn, Bryan, Brendan, Kristopher, Kaitlyn, Matthew, David, Michael, Katelyn and Nicole. Adoring great-grandmother to 19. Loving sister of the late Robert Dexter and the late Shirley Bates. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Jean was born and raised in Quincy and graduated from North Quincy High School. In 1953, she married Bill and they later raised their family in East Bridgewater. Married for over 50 years, they hosted many cookouts and parties by the pool. In her middle years, Jean enjoyed traveling with Bill and friends on cruises, snowmobile trips, and visiting state parks. Jean spent many hours in her backyard garden surrounded by strawberries and flowers. Jean spent over twenty years vacationing on the Cape with her grandchildren.

After retirement, Jean enjoyed her Foxwood trips, bowling leagues, playing cards and pizza nights with friends. There isn't a gym, field, court or stage that Jean did not come to know watching her grandchildren and then great grandchildren grow. Jean's happiest moments were spending time with her family and friends.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 8th at 11:00 AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 So. Main St.(Rt.28) West Bridgewater. Memorial visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
