Obituary

Jean D. (McPhee) Ferrara, 83 years of Brockton passed away Sunday January 24, 2010 after a brief illness. Wife of the late Arnold V. Ferrara. She was born and educated in Quincy, the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Dorothy H. McPhee. She was a resident of Brockton for over 67 years. Mrs. Ferrara worked for many years as a telephone operator for New England Telephone and Telegraph in Brockton. She also worked for many years for Park Medical Lab and Park Cardio Graphics. Mrs. Ferrara enjoyed bingo, senior bowling and was a Westgate Mall Walker for 17 years. She was a former member of the P.M. Club of Brockton and Mothers Club of Brockton.

Mrs. Ferrara is survived by three daughters, Diane Paine and her husband Ralph of Brockton, Judith Fiske-Mignosa and her husband David Mignosa of Plympton and Nancy Ferrara of Vineyard Haven, her five grandchildren, Lisa Freeguard, David and Jonathan Paine and Michael and Mason Fiske, six great-granddaughters, a sister Marjorie Moulton of Rumney, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert and Wallace McPhee.

Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 10am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm.
