Jean Oles Murat, 75, of Brockton passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Yanick (Nicolas) Murat.
Born on June 3, 1945 in Lilavois, Haiti, he was the son of the late Elie Murat and Anna (Joseph) Murat.
Jean enjoyed spending quality time with family, cooking, gardening, being a husband, father, grandfather, and a genuine human being who supported others within his community. He enjoyed bringing his grandchildren to school before heading to the family restaurant. Jean was a jokester leaving the most pleasant memories for all those who were graced by his presence. He worked countless hours prior to his retirement within the family restaurant providing for his family and serving customers from all walks of life treating each person with the utmost respect. Jean would always engrain into his children's minds that you're only on time if you're five minutes early.
