Obituary

Jean E. (Hogan) Salvatore, age 86, of Abington, formerly of Brockton, died October 5, 2014 at South Shore Hospital. Jean was the wife of the late Joseph A. Salvatore, Ret. Lieutenant of the Brockton Fire Department. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma (Harrington) Hogan. Jean was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1945 and a longtime communicant of St. Edward Church.
She enjoyed reading and sitting by the water and spending time on Cape Cod, in her favorite town of Harwichport, with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Joseph A. Salvatore and his wife Jessica Radin of New York City and Janice M. Salvatore Walsh and her husband Christopher Walsh of Abington; two grandchildren, Emma Rose and Nicholas Joseph Walsh; two sisters, Lois Marble of East Bridgewater and Eleanor Marble of Halifax and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bernard Hogan.
At Jean’s request, all services will be private.
