Online Obituaries Jeanne M. (Galvin) Devin, 88, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Blue Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late William H. Devin, Jr. Born June 14, 1926 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John H. Galvin and Alice (Bachoff) Galvin. Raised in Boston she graduated from Boston Schools. Jeanne worked for the Brockton Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed reading, taking vacations and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, William H. Devin, III and his wife Mary of Brockton, Paul F. Devin and his wife Susan of Bridgewater and Richard T. Devin and his wife Jessica of Ashburnham; her grandchildren, Katharine Holcombe, Jacqueline ODonnell, Matthew Devin, Abigail Devin, Caroline Devin, Julie Moynihan, Michael Devin, William Devin and Madeline Devin; her great grandchildren, Brody, Brendan and Emma; her sister, Alice OConnell; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Galvin. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7th at 9:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.
