Jeanne A. (Waska) Horne, 70, of Whitman passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was the wife of the late Lawrence V. Horne. Born on August 10, 1951 in Binghamton, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. Waska and Amelia A. (Kaminsky) Waska. Jeanne was a 1969 graduate of Needham High School. Jeanne worked for Foot Joy Company of Brockton as well as at Shaws Supermarket. She enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends, staying home with her family and loved all of her animals that she had over the years. Jeanne is survived by her sons Lawrence P. Horne and his wife Janice and Paul J. Horne, both of Whitman; and her sister Marilyn J. Golding and her husband Jimmy of West Roxbury. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2nd in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt.123), Brockton at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 1st from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
