Jeannette (Koziatek) Skenas of Brockton died on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 following a very short illness. She was the wife of the late James P. Skenas.

Born on January 19, 1927 in the Back Bay, Boston, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Alexander B. and Nellie (Szafranski) Koziatek.

Jeannette was the treasurer for Quinn Freight Lines, then opened Ideal Skin Care. She also worked for decades alongside her husband, owner of United Furniture.

Jeannette is survived by her nieces and nephews Margo Daphnis, Peter Daphnis, James Daphnis and Diane Maimonis; 8 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-great niece and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 24th in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
