Jennie (Salemi) Ciccolo, age 100, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Ciccolo for 76 years.

Born in Chelsea on January 30, 1925, Jennie was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Vincenza (DiMarco) Salemi.

Jennie worked in the cafeteria for Quincy Public Schools before retiring.

Jennie taught her children the importance of faith, family, food and fun. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, and cooking legendary holiday meals. They hope to continue her legacy.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Cosgrove, Robert Ciccolo, Joseph Ciccolo and his wife Florence and Ginny Snell and her husband Gary; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cosgrove, Michael Ciccolo and his wife Cindi, Brian Ciccolo and his wife Megan, Laura Ciccolo, Joseph Ciccolo and his wife Kelly, Catherine Tucker and her husband Darren, David Snell and his wife Jessica Spear and Jaclyn Leitao and her husband Eric; her great grandchildren, Jacari Cosgrove, Janessa Seven Cosgrove, Bella Ciccolo, Luca Ciccolo, Michael Ciccolo, Gia Ciccolo, Rylan Ciccolo, Leo Tucker, Heidi Tucker, Fitzgerald "Fitz" Snell, Finley Jane Snell, Gemma Leitao and Ollie Leitao; and her great-great grandchildren Keari, Arabella, and Jalise. Jennie was also the great-grandmother of the late Jalelle Cosgrove.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff of Queen Anne of Hingham who provided excellent care to Jennie over the past two and one-half years.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., West Bridgewater on Wednesday, April 23rd at 10:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:00PM-7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennie's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
