Obituary

Jennie Ann (Caparotta) Doherty, 84 years, of Brockton, died Wednesday February 8, 2006 at Falmouth Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Frank and Rosina (Metti) Caparotta. She attended Brockton schools and was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family

She is survived by one son Richard W. Doherty of Rockland, three daughters, Roberta Emberg of Bourne, Jennifer Doherty of East Dennis and Brenda Rogers of Yerrington, NV and 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Wife of the late William R. Doherty and sister of the late Mary Catrabone, Cora Picchoni, Marion Nevens, Eleanor Ingarolia, Rose Grenier, Barbara Gustafson, Mary Venuto, Anthony, Louie, Pasquale “Pat” and Albert Caparotta.

A graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date. Donations in memory of Jennie may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
