Walsh, of Brockton, February 27, 2006, Jennie J. (GiaQuinta) Walsh, 90 years. Wife of the late Donald M. Walsh. Beloved Sister of Indiana State Representative Benjamin GiaQuinta of Fort Wayne IN, and the late Gena P. Rudden, niece of Angelo Barravecchio of Hyde Park.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Our Lady of Lourdes Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jennie’s name to the charity of one’s choice.

Obituary Information

Jennie J. (GiaQuinta) Walsh, 90 years died Monday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Barravecchio) GiaQuinta. Jennie was a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School. For over 35 years she had been employed by New England Telephone Company in Brockton, many years as a Telephone Instructor. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, loved playing cards, was an avid reader and golfer. She especially loved her family and spending time with them and her many dear friends.

She is survived by her beloved brother Indiana State Representative Benjamin GiaQuinta of Fort Wayne IN, an uncle Angelo Barravecchio of Hyde Park, eight nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was the wife of the late Donald M. Walsh and sister of the late Gena P. Rudden.
