Jerome Robert "Bobby" Evans, Jr. Jerome Robert "Bobby" Evans, age 58, of Brockton, ended his journey on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Boston on September 18, 1952, son to Doris (Durham) Evans of Brockton and the late Jerome R. Evans, Sr. Jerome attended Brockton High School. He was employed by New England Telephone, Staples, WearGuard and most recently Brewster Wallcovering in Randolph. Jerome was an avid sports fan and loved to play pool at Westgate Lanes. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Celese Alves of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kathy M. Evans, Southfield, Michigan, and Gail Evans-Warr of West Bridgewater; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Visitation in Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton on Thursday, September 8th from 10:00-11:30AM followed by a funeral service at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
