Jerson Miranda Jerson Miranda , 20, of Brockton, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Brockton. Born March 7, 1989 in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cape Verde, he is the son of Laurinda Goncalves and Antonio Miranda. He enjoyed soccer, drawing, and listening to music. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kyannah; his brothers, Danny, Filipe, and Elson; his step-father, Americo; his grandmother, Idalena; and his close friend, Beliza.
