Obituary

Jessica-Jonnette K. Kalehuawehe, age 50, of Brockton, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. Born, raised and educated in Maui, Hawaii, she was proud of her Hawaiian heritage. Jessie was the daughter of the late Jacob P. and Martha M. (Villegas) Kalehuawehe, Jr. She had been a resident of Brockton for over 20 years and attended Massasoit Community College. A happy, extremely giving, unselfish and thoughtful person, Jessie had been employed as the Receptionist at the Brockton Assembly of God Church for the past 15 years. In addition to being the receptionist, she was very active in the church community; the Children’s Ministry, Music Ministry and Youth Ministry. She also enjoyed walking on the beach, music and spending time with her granddaughter Kailynn.
She is survived by two sons Daniel-Gordon K. and Michael-Thomas K.L. McPhee both of Brockton, her granddaughter Kailynn of Brockton and many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins in Hawaii.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Brockton Assembly of God Church, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Jessie’s name to the Brockton Assembly of God Church, 199 Warren Avenue, Brockton, MA 02301.
