Jessie M. Burrell, 74, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home in Raynham surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Lydia (Doremus) Burrell. Born April 19, 1943 in Louisburg, North Carolina, he was the son of Lumous and Lessie (Neal) Burrell and the brother of the late William Burrell, Thomas Burrell and MaryAnn (Burrell) Britt. In addition to his wife he is survived by, his sisters Wybettie Odware, Sarah Fulgham and Eileen Liferidge; his children: Carmen (Burrell) Andrews, Marshall Vance Burrell, Benjamin Burrell, Timothy Burrell, Jason Burrell and Rachel (Burrell) Foster, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 9:00AM in Trinity Baptist Church, 1367 Main Street, Brockton. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Calling hours will be on Friday, April 6th from 5:00 to 8:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton.
