Jill F. (Caton) LaFrance Jill F. (Caton) LaFrance , 65, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 surrounded by her family and friends at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of Frederic E. LaFrance. Born February 24, 1945 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James A. Caton and Rosalie (Tighe) Caton. Jill graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1963 and then received an Associates Degree from Aquinas Junior College. Jill had worked for nearly 40 years for the Law Office of Paul Adams in Brockton. She enjoyed traveling and mostly enjoyed her frequent trips to Las Vegas. Jill was an avid walker and loved her daily walks along with hiking. She was a pet lover and was always donating to support pet agencies. Jill is survived by her loving husband, Frederic E. LaFrance; her loving children, Christopher J. LaFrance and his wife Wendy of Brockton, Kerrin A. LaFrance and her husband Gregory Smith of Orleans, Matthew C. LaFrance of Brockton and Jessica K. LaFrance of Haydenville; her devoted sister, Jeannie R. Caton of St. Louis, Missouri; her adored grandchildren, Teresa M. Keefe, Noah Brink, Genevieve Smith and Savion Smith; her sister-in-law, Pauline LaFrance; she is also survived by several nieces. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, December 13th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
