Obituary

Jo A. “Jo Jo” (Putignano) Spillane, age 47, of Brockton, died unexpectedly, August 24, 2013 at her home. She was the loving wife of David P. Spillane, Jr. Born and raised in Brockton, Jo was the daughter of the late Donald and Judith (Sampson) Putignano. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and was a former employee of Brockton City Hall in the Elections Department. Jo was known for her heart of gold and quick wit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with her dogs Brady, Bella, Bianca and Bastian.

She is also survived by her son Anthony of Brockton, grandson Niko; sisters Lisa Foos and her husband Paul, Laurie Putignano and Dawn Putignano all of Brockton and brother John Putignano of North Carolina; her grandmother Josephine Putignano of Hull and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
