Obituary

Joan (Fitzgerald) DeRosa, 53, of Brockton, unexpectedly, September 15, 2010. Joan was born in Boston and raised in Randolph before moving to Brockton. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Maryanne (Neuronis) Fitzgerald. Joan worked for the Hart-Hanks Co. of E. Bridgewater as a packer for several years, leaving several years ago. She was a 1975 graduate of Randolph High School.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother and the friend that everyone leaned on for support and advice.
Joan is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joseph E. DeRosa; her sons Joseph E. DeRosa Jr, James M. and John R. DeRosa all of Brockton; her siblings Karen Dustin of East Bridgewater and Kevin and Paul Fitzgerald both of Mansfield, and the late Terri Seminole; and her beloved grandchildren Matthew C., Zachary P. and Jayden J. DeRosa.
Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday September 21, 2010 at 9am, followed by a funeral home service at 10am. Cremation will follow.
