IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan F. (Belmosto)
Fabroski
November 10, 1943 – January 27, 2024
Joan F. (Belmosto) Fabroski, of East Bridgewater, passed away at home on January 27, 2024, at the age of 80. The youngest of three sisters, Joan was the beloved daughter of the late Vincent "Jimmy" and Florence (Withers) Belmosto and grew up in Brockton, MA. It was there she fell in love with her husband, the late John A. Fabroski, Jr., whom she married on June 25, 1962. Together, they raised four children in East Bridgewater, where she taught CCD and worked alongside him at their garden center on Bedford Street for many years. During their 61 years of marriage, Joan and John enjoyed traveling the world, exploring towns all along the New England coast, and hosting family and friends at their vacation homes—with Joan nearly always donning a wide-brimmed hat and colorful, sparkling jewelry to match her personality. A devout Catholic, she was deeply spiritual and touched the lives of so many, whether you knew her as Joan, Miss Joan, Joanie, Snookie, Mom, Grandma, Auntie, or Anastasia.
Joan is survived by her son John Fabroski III and his wife Nancy of East Bridgewater, her daughter Pamela (Fabroski) Lonergan and her husband Scott of East Bridgewater, her son Kris Fabroski and his wife Kerri of Bridgewater, her son Timothy Fabroski and his wife Renee of Halifax, fourteen grandchildren John IV, Nick, Brianna, Scott II, Mitch, Jake, Gage, Kris-Jon, Shane, Kody, Raquel, Dakota, Jordiss, and Ryder, her great-grand granddaughter Dalia, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Florence Belmosto, her sisters Mary (Belmosto) Williams and Concetta "Connie" (Belmosto) Jenkins, and her husband John A. Fabroski, Jr. Her family finds comfort in knowing they are together again in eternal peace.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater on Monday, February 5th at 10:00AM. Private interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Sunday from 2:00-4:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater.
