Joan F. Kenney Joan F. (Baynes)(Sebelia) Kenney, of Brockton died peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her home in Brockton. She was the loving wife of the late A. Joseph Sebelia and John H. Kenney. Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Baynes and Florence Baynes. Raised in the Montello section of Brockton since she was a little girl, she attended Brockton schools and graduated from Brockton High School. She worked for Foxboro Company in the personnel department for many years. She attended Old Colony Y senior citizens fitness programs as well as senior citizens classes at Massasoit Community College. She was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edwards's Church. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, and spending time with her family in North Falmouth and Naples, Maine. Devoted mother to Jean Kelleher and her husband James of Brockton, Janet O'Dea and her husband Gerald of Dennisport, Patricia Mathews and her husband Molyneaux of North Falmouth; loving grandmother of Kerri MacDonald, Lauren Kelley, Molyneaux Mathews, Andrew O'Dea, Thomas O'Dea, Christopher O'Dea; sister of Eileen Sexton of Brockton, Patricia Mahoney of Lakeville, John Baynes of FL; fondly remembered by Barbara Gauvin of NH, Margaret Cabral of Wakefield, Nancy Serino of Stoneham; also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Kenneth Baynes. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Monday, Oct. 29th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edwards Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
