Obituary

Joanne L. “Jody” Mileski, age 70, of Ayer, died peacefully on August 20, 2023 at Nashoba Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of Michael and Hazel (Risko) (Mileski) Hinkle and was raised and educated in Brockton.

Jody loved to dance and travel. As much as she loved dancing, her absolute favorite dance routine was doing the Polka with her Dad. She had a talent for and loved making stuffed animals and Halloween costumes for her nieces and nephew.

She was the sister of Alyce Cassell of Raynham, Catherine Perry and her husband Donald of Raynham and the late Michael S. Mileski. She also leaves her nieces Renee Gillespie, Laura Gouthro, Lauren Roderick and nephew Brian Cassell.

A graveside service will be held at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland on Monday, September 18 at 11am.
