Joanne Leslie Pyne-DeMulis, 64, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on March 14, 2025, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton. She was the beloved wife of David E. DeMulis, with whom she shared a life full of love and devotion.

Born on September 18,1960, in Brockton, Joanne was the cherished daughter of Joanne Pyne and the late Warren Pyne, Sr. She grew up in Brockton and was a proud graduate of the Brockton High School Class of 1978.

Joanne dedicated many years to caring for children as the owner and operator of Miss Joanne's Little Angels Day Care in Brockton, touching the lives of countless families with her kindness and nurturing spirit.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures—gardening, canning her own fruits and vegetables, and traveling to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. But above all, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored.

Joanne leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her devoted husband, David E. DeMulis; her children, Sherri Lincoln, the late Joseph Clark, and Jaquelyn Martell; her stepchildren, David DeMulis, Jr., and Jason DeMulis; her treasured grandchildren, Joshua Byrne, Haley Lincoln, Katelyn Lincoln, Jessica Lincoln, Madison Martell, Shawn Royce, Jorden DeMulis, Izabella May, Christian Lindskog, and Breanna DeMulis and great-grandchildren Scarlet Byrne and Sophia Byrne. She is also survived by her siblings, Warren Pyne, Jr., and his wife Gretchen, Melanie Horsman and her husband Brian, and Jeannie Rollins and her husband Herb, along with many dear friends and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt. 123), Brockton, on Thursday, March 20th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will take place at Coweeset Cemetery, Brockton.

Joanne's love, warmth, and unwavering kindness will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.
