Joao "Orlando" DaSilva Ramos, 57, of Brockton, died tragically on Friday, May 10, 2019 in Sharon as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on May 20, 1961 in Sao Tome and Principe, Africa, raised in Cape Verde, and resided in the US for the last 30 years, he was the son of Ilda DaSilva and the late Eduardo Ramos. Joao is survived by his mother, Ilda; his seven children, Nilton, Katia, Dilma, Jordan, Aaliyah, Jadmar, and Anjlee; and was loved by many extended family and friends. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, May 18th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:00AM.
