Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church, Parish Center 891 Montello St., Brockton Saturday at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton.

Obituary

Mr. Silva died Tuesday at the Goddard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Stoughton after a lengthy illness. Born in Fogo, Cabo Verde, son of the late Arteneo Santos Silva and Maria (Nascimento) Silva. Resident of Brockton for the past ten years. Before his illness in 1997 he worked for the Barbour Welt Company, Brockton.

He is survived by his wife Domingas (Medina) Silva, his children, Maria “Fina” Gomes of Brockton; Maria “Mena” Amado of Dorchester; Euridice “Belinda” Medina and Ineudira “Dira” Andrade both of Brockton; Simao Medina of Cabo Verde; Luisa Medina; Inaida Pinto; Janice Barbosa; Sonia Cunha; Jose “Jota” Silva; Claudio “Caiuca” Silva; Aflaudite “Alieda” Silva all of Brockton, 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, three brothers, Tito, Neu and Alberto Silva, three sisters, Maria, Luta and Mimi Silva.
