Joaquin (Jack) Walter Croce, 83, of Middleboro passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of George E. Ettinger. Born in Brockton on September 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Euclid Croce, Sr. and Ida (Burgess) Croce. He served in the United States Navy. Joaquin worked as a hairdresser. Joaquin was a gourmet cook of many ethnic nationalities and a cake decorator. He enjoyed movies, Mustang convertibles, cats and his late dog Phaedra. In addition to his husband George, Joaquin is survived by his sister Catherine Dolores Mack and her husband John F. Mack; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was also the brother of the late Euclid Croce, Jr., Angelo Croce, Grochina White, Teresa Wright, Angelina Houle, Delia Scott and Congetta Biront. Visiting hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St.,(Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Sunday, October 31st from 1:00-5:00 PM. A burial will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, November 1st at 12:45 PM.
