John E. Bradsher John E. Bradsher , 71, of Brockton, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Born August 13, 1940 in Roxboro, North Carolina; he was the son of the late Eddie and Addie Mae Bradsher. He was raised in North Carolina by his Grandparents, John and Cynthia Bradsher. John completed his schooling in Washington D.C. with his parents. John migrated to Brockton, Massachusetts over fifty years ago where he met the love of his life Glenda Simmons. John worked for Walsh Trucking in Avon for several years until he retired. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching football, wrestling, basketball, golf and much more. He made the B-E-S-T sweet-potato pie and candy-yams that you have ever ate and could really trowed down in the kitchen. He is survived by his long time companion, Glenda Simmons; his Step-daughter, Irene Simmons; his brother, James Bradsher with wife Martha Bradsher; his uncle, Robert Bradsher; his Aunt Estella Bradsher; his cousin, Linda Cooper and Carlton Bradsher with wife Maggie Bradsher; his grandchildren Monique Screen-Berry with husband Sean Berry, Quinton William and Brandon Robinson; his nephews, Edward Bradsher with wife Jeannie Bradsher and Kenneth Bradsher; his nieces, Denise Bradsher, Wanda, Stephanie and Ann Robinson and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Jubilee Church, 1278 Park St., Stoughton on Tuesday, November 15th from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Private cremation will follow.
