John J. "Jack" Campbell John J. "Jack" Campbell , 68, of Brockton, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center from complications due to cancer. He was the loving husband of 43 years to Diane (DeMulis) Campbell. Born December 10, 1941 in Brockton, he was the son of the late George Campbell and Mabel (Broman) Campbell. Raised in Brockton, he was a graduate of Brockton High School in 1959. Jack served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1966. Jack worked at Potvin Shoe, Striderite, Hyde Athletic and Saucony. Jack enjoyed playing poker with his brother-in-laws, darts, pool, bocce, fishing and Foxwoods. Jack was a member of the Polish White Eagles and Bertocci Clubs of Brockton Jack is survived by his wife Diane; his son, Scott Campbell of Brockton; his daughter, Lori Grant and her husband Jim of Auburn, ME; his grandchildren, Randy Campbell, Ashley Rheaume, Jim Grant and Kayla Grant; his sister Nancy Fahey and her husband Kenney; He was the special brother-in-law of Peter and Barbara Bruni, Michael DeMulis and his fianc Deb Bates, Hilly and Debby Ireland, Gene and Patti Clark, Linda Isgur, Robert and Mary DeMulis, David and Joanne DeMulis, and the late George DeMulis, Jr. He was the godfather of Debbie Jones Gillon and Steven Bruni; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Sunday, December 27th from 12:00-3:00PM followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 3:00PM. Interment will be private.
