John N. Cirelli
, 94, of South Yarmouth, formerly of Brockton died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Cape Cod Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Jennie (Grigas) Cirelli.
Born September 18, 1913 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Emidio Cirelli and Maria (Salerno) Cirelli. He was a Brockton resident until 1982. He was then a resident of South Yarmouth and Pinellas Park, Florida for the past 25 years.
He was Founder and Chairman of the Board of Cirelli Foods, Inc. located in Middleboro, formerly located in Brockton. He was an honorary member of the Brockton and Pinellas Park Rotary. He was a former board member of the Brockton Old Colony YMCA.
He was very active in many Brockton civic affairs. He was recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Jean Kelleher of Brockton; his grandchildren, Linda Meade of Norton, Kathleen Viola of Sandwich, Harold Kelleher of Norton, and John Kelleher of Brockton; he is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Victor Cirelli, George Cirelli, Joseph Cirelli, and Margaret Cirelli.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday, Oct. 27th at 8:00AM thence to Christ The King Parish(formerly St. Colman Church), 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Friday 4:00PM-8:00PM.
