Obituary

John William Davis age 84 of Brockton died Saturday September 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a short illness. John was born in Brockton the son of the late William and Barbara (Locke) Davis and lived in the Brockton area for most of his life.
John started working at Home Depot in Stoughton in 1996 and recently retired. He will be remembered as a quiet man who was quick to help anyone in need and to share a handsome smile.
John enjoyed taking day trips to various museums and watching 1980s movies and television shows. He loved his home and independence and valued his relationship with his friends. John was loved by many.
John leaves behind his special friends Doneshia Jaminson, Carolyn “Caz” Sullivan, Gary Lyon, Claudia Martins, Robert Mwangi, Tangie Churchill Orlando, Omon Adefunmilola, Theresa Harrison, Amy McElman, Katie Driscoll, Jeff Wing, Hayley Galsik-Johnson and his housemate friends Kenny, Brian and Steve.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Monday September 17, 2018 from 10-11am with a funeral service at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
