John DeGrenier,62,of East Bridgewater passed away peacefully at home on April 20,2024 after a nearly decade long courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his mother Mary (Player) DeGrenier and the late John (Jack) DeGrenier. Beloved Husband of Janice (Leary) DeGrenier.

John was born April 10,1962 and graduated from Rockland High School where he excelled in football, wrestling and baseball. After High School, John worked for National Coating in Rockland where he met his wife Janice. He later started his own scaffolding company, DC Scaffold Inc. that he owned for over 25 years.

Besides his wife Janice, John will forever be missed by his daughters Taylor DeGrenier and Jenell Baker and her husband Josh. Loving Pop Pop to Evelyn and Addison Baker. Brother to Linda Yourell, Debbie Jordan, Donna Adams, Mary Brouillard, Leo DeGrenier, James DeGrenier, Daniel DeGrenier, William DeGrenier and the late David DeGrenier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John enjoyed spending time with family & friends golfing, playing cribbage, relaxing by his pool & watching sports; especially with his mother. He loved to joke and laugh and always had his next prank up his sleeve.

John will be remembered as a kind hearted person who loved helping others, a dedicated family man and a great friend. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA on Wednesday April 24th from4 to 7 p.m. His funeral service from the funeral home will be held on Thursday April 25th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, 103 Center Street, Bridgewater, MA.
