John P. Froio, 74, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Catherine M. (Swanson) Froio.

Born August 8, 1950 in Brockton, he was the son of the late John P. Froio and Helena (Delagolla) Froio. Raised in Brockton and graduated Brockton High School.

Mr. Froio worked for LeBaron Foundry in Brockton. He was also formerly the President and Vice President of Belair Towers for Brockton Housing Authority. He was a die-hard Red Sox fan and local sports enthusiast. He enjoyed Cooking, Eating, Gardening and time with Family and Friends.

He is survived by his son Andrew J. Froio and his spouse Meghann E. Froio of Brockton; he also leaves a loving extended family.

All are invited to visit with family and friends on Sunday April 27, 2025, at Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt 123) Brockton from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.

Funeral services from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Monday April 28, 2025 at 9:30 AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Pinehill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
