Obituary

John J. Hill, age 92, passed away in South Daytona, FL on April 20, 2021 after a brief illness. John was a longtime resident of Rockland before moving to Florida in 1983. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Gavin) Hill. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Quincy. John was an Army veteran of WWII and Korea. For many years, he was a tractor trailer driver for Duanes in Quincy. John enjoyed fishing, boating, and dancing.

He is survived by his son, James Hill of Florida, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jackie, Michael and Mark Hill.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 13 at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland at 10:30 a.m.
