Obituary

John F. “Jack” Lembke of Dedham, age 98, died January 26, 2016. Formerly of Sharon, MA and Melbourne, FL. Beloved husband of the late Lyndell (Brantley). Loving father of Susan Dukess of Jamaica Plain, and the late Jill Glover and her husband William McAllister of NYC. Devoted uncle to Priscilla Lindenauer and Joan Arbeiter of NJ. Commander (Ret.), US Coast Guard, serving during WWII and in the reserves for many years afterward. After a lengthy career in banking in NY, Jack and Lynn retired to FL, where they had met during the war. Following Lynn’s passing, Jack moved to MA, and in recent years enjoyed his life as part of the resident community at the Health Center of Newbridge on the Charles.
