Obituary

John W. “Jack” Pierce, age 56, of Brockton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Joan M. (Peterson) (Pierce) Dos Santos of Brockton and the late Harold W. “Sonny” Pierce. Jack was a graduate of Brockton High School and for the past 27 years was a driver for the Yellow Cab Company in Brockton. Jack enjoyed his free time watching sports and socializing with the many friends and acquaintances he made throughout his years as a Brockton cab driver.

Jack is also survived by his son John Pierce of Norton, his three brothers: Steven Pierce and his wife Cathy of East Bridgewater, Ronald Pierce and his wife Tina of Brockton and Harry Pierce and his wife Sharon of Brockton. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday, October 28, from 4-7pm. Donations in Jack’s name may be made to a local Animal Shelter of your choice.
