Obituary

John L. “Jackie” Dufresne, age 80, of Brockton, died Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Brockton Health Center, following a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Edmund J. and Mary E. (Avery) Dufresne. Jackie was a graduate of Brockton High School and served in the Army, stationed in Germany 1958-1960. He was always happy and good natured, and was an avid baseball fan.

Jackie is survived by a sister Eva May Rocha of Taunton and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Albert, Edmund, Gerald, Louis, George and Richard Dufresne, Florence Mahan, Evangeline Landry, Louise Dufresne and Beatrice Munice.

Graveside Services will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Tuesday June 7, 2016 at 12:45pm. Visiting Hours are omitted.
