John Algirdas Jakutis, 68, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

He was the son of Prakseda and Stasys Jakutis, the brother of Vincent Jakutis and Laima McDonald who are all deceased.

He leaves behind his wife Cindy Colombo-Jakutis married 43 years, a son John Jakutis and his wife Jillian and a daughter, Alisa Jakutis.

John graduated from BC High School, Bentley and Suffolk University. He worked as an accountant for 42 years at several places including the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, Massport and most recently retiring from Helical Drilling.

John was known for his optimistic attitude, his kindness and warm heart. An avid sports spectator and participant in hockey, skiing, and golf. He and his family enjoyed many years vacationing summers and winters at their Linderhof condo in Glen, NH.

He was proud of his Lithuanian heritage and maintained close relationships with his fellow Lithuanians.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects in a memorial gathering on Friday, March 3rd from 3:00PM to 6:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.(Rt.123) Brockton. Interment will be private.
