IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John A.
Kaiser
November 21, 1937 – October 17, 2024
John Allan Kaiser, 86, of Bridgewater passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 17th, one day after his 59th wedding anniversary to Anne Kelleher Kaiser. He was the 4th of five sons born to the late Percy and Mary Ellen Kaiser. He grew up in Randolph and graduated from Cathedral High School in the South End. He earned an associate's degree in electrical engineering from Wentworth and his bachelor's degree from Northeastern. Following his early retirement from Raytheon Company after more than 30 years, he drove a school bus in East Bridgewater and delivered car parts for Copeland Toyota, which aligned nicely with his hobby of vehicle repair.
John resided in East Bridgewater for 42 years and in Bridgewater at Stone Meadow for the last 10 years. He summered in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he, his brothers, and son took over the family homestead in Grand Tracadie.
He was the father of four children and their spouses: Jack and Wendy Kaiser of Hull, Jennifer and Tony Shields of East Bridgewater, Karen and Michael Edelson of Westfield, and Susan and Michael Reynolds of Plymouth. John was the proud grandfather of 7 grandsons and 7 granddaughters: Kristen Hefferon and her husband Abi Chandrashekar and Jacki Presti and her husband PJ Presti; Adam, Luke and Alexandra Kaiser; Gillian, Cole, and Benjamin Shields; Mallory, Zachary, and Jeremy Edelson; and Caitlin, Colin, and Mackenzie Reynolds. "Pops" was delighted with his first great grandchild Piper Noele Presti, 10 months.
John was predeceased by his brothers Stanley Kaiser and his wife Hilma of Maryland and George Edward Kaiser of Whitman. He is survived by his brothers James Francis Kaiser and his wife Kathleen of Yarmouth Port and Thomas Kaiser and his wife Anne of Randolph. He is also survived by many dear cousins in Prince Edward Island.
John's visiting hours will be on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, at Russell Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 210 Central Street, East Bridgewater. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery, Harvard Street, Whitman. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's Parish, where he worshipped for 52 years would be appreciated.
