John O. Lombardi, 82, of East Bridgewater passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. He was a devoted husband to the late Linda A. (Lasky) Lombardi. Born April 19, 1939 in Boston, MA he was the son of the late John and Rose (Sferrazza) Lombardi. John was an avid golfer. When he was not golfing he was spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as his many friends whom were very dear to him. John was a skilled electrician for over sixty years. We will miss his strength, his wisdom and his overall kindness and generosity to all that knew him. He is survived by his children; Janeen Canavan and husband Jeff of Maine, John Lombardi Jr. and wife Luciana of Florida, Denise Keohan and late husband David of Maine, Scott Freedman of Stoughton, Rachel Freedman of Holbrook, Reisa Clardy and late husband Tom of Hudson and Eric Freedman of Foxborough; Grandchildren, Janeen-Marie, Sophia, Mario, Nadine Paquet and husband Justin, David, Destiny, Tyler, Gabryella, Lily, Emma, Eva and Noah; great-granddaughter, Rosalinda; siblings Carol Gaynor of New Hampshire and Dan Lombardi and wife Judy of Florida. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 10th at 10:30 am in Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree, MA 02184. The procession will line up in the circle in front of the cemetery office across the street from the cemetery at 10:15am.
