Murray of Brockton December 30, 2003, John A. Murray, 58 years. Husband of Barbara A. (Lord) Murray. Father of Ashley Murray of Brockton. Stepfather of Amy Bailey of RI.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Murray died Tuesday morning at the Wedgemere Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Taunton after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, son of the late Harry and Marcia (Gary) Murray. Lifelong resident of of Brockton. Attended Brockton Schools. For many years he was a carpenter in the Brockton area and a maintenance worker at the Trilling House in Randolph for 11 years.

He was avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, he also enjoyed camping in Maine and he loved to putter around his house and his yard.

Survived by his wife Barbara A. (Lord) Murray, a daughter Ashley Murray of Brockton, a stepdaughter Amy Bailey of RI, a grandson, a brother Wayne D’Allessandro of CA and several aunts,uncles and cousins.
