Obituary

John P Corcoran, 86 years, of Brockton, died February 16, 2009 at his daughter's home in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Thelma L (Geary). Born and raised in Brockton, he had been employed by Pneumatic Scale Co. in Quincy from which he retired after over 25 years. He had been a resident of Norton for over 20 years before his recent return to Brockton. He was known for his sense of humor, independence, and good nature.

He is survived by his children and their spouses Ed Corcoran of Georgia, Susan and Keith Liberty of Norton and Jean and Donald Blye, Jr. of Brockton; grandchildren Michelle “Mikki”, Michael, Kevin, Erin, Eric, Shaun “JR”, Kristen, Dawn, and Donald III; great grandchildren Alexis, Caitlyn, Devin, Brianna, Brycen, and Nathan.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St., (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 11am. Visitation 10-11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
