Obituary

John M. Picanzo, 83 years died Thursday at Brockton Hospital. He had been a lifelong resident of Brockton, husband of the late Mary C. (Coccimiglio) Picanzo. John served in the Army during WWII as a heavy equipment operator and was a self employed Master Carpenter and homebuilder for 50 years. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid golfer.

He was the father of Joan M. and Sandra J. Picanzo of Brockton, James M. Picanzo of Lakeville; grandfather of John, Michael and Jenna Picanzo and great grandfather of Angela and John Picanzo; brother of Jim, Joe and Bob Picanzo, Rae Wood, Angie (Southworth) Morrone and the late Richie and Tony Picanzo; brother in law of Louie and Mary Coccimiglio, Rose and Tony Bonanno and Louise and the late Cosmo Loporto. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Monday at 11am. Visitation prior to service 10-11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
