John M. "Jimmy" Pina, Jr. John M. "Jimmy" Pina, Jr. , 64, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Cape Cod Hospital as a result of a boating accident off Provincetown. He was the husband of Debra J. (Rodrigues) Pina. Born May 22, 1946 in Midland , Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John M. Pina, Sr. and Josephine (Fernandes) Pina. Jimmy was a Truck Driver for many years and was a member of the Tri-Town Wampatuck Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. For all that knew and loved him, it only took a moment for him to find a special place in their heart. He was full of laughter, love and goodness. Jimmy loved his family fiercely as they were everything to him. His love and spirit will continue to shine bright for us all. He is survived by his wife, Debra J. (Rodrigues) Pina; his children, Tina Pina, Tonya Pina, India Long, Shane Pina and his wife Donna Leigh, Candice Pina, John M. Pina, III and his wife Mary, Diane Pina and Nicole Pina; his sister, Emily Smith; he is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Aninha Riberio. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St . , (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday from 4:00-7:30PM followed by a prayer service at 7:30PM.
