Obituary

John B. Pritchett, Jr. age 71 of Brockton, died Wednesday January 25, 2017 at the Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was the devoted husband of Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Pritchett for 43 years.
John was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota a son of the late John B. and Florence Pritchett and had lived in Brockton since 1972.
John served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged with a service connected disability. He was a life member of the DAV and AMVETS where he enjoyed dancing with his wife. John also enjoyed watching television esp. old movies and swimming and exercising at the Brockton YMCA.
He leaves one brother Thomas Pritchett of Florida.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel at St. Joseph Manor, 215 Thatcher Street, Brockton on Monday 9-10am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am followed by burial in the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne.
