Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery. Obituary Information
Mr. Prodouz died Saturday at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Chelsea, son of the late Andrew and Eugenia (Andreeva) Prodouz. He was educated in Stoughton schools, and had been employed by Warren Brothers in Cambridge. For many years he was self employed by the Prodouz Brothers Construction Company. During WWII he was a 1st Lt. in the US Army in Field Artillery. He was a member of the American Legion in Avon, and a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Bridgewater. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed photography and bird watching.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eleanor P. (Doherty) Prodouz, 1 daughter Janet Prodouz of Bridgewater and a son Thomas Prodouz of Fort Wayne Indiana. 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 3 brothers, William of Brockton, Raymond of New Hampshire and Walter. 1 sister Katherine of Texas. He was the brother of the late Nicholas, Alexander, and Mary Klimchuk
