Rapoza of Brockton, March 8, 2005, John F. Rapoza, 49 years. Father of Jason and his wife Miranda of Whitman; Melissa Kominsky and her husband Michael of Middleboro and Ashleigh Rapoza of Whitman. Grandfather of Cassie, MJ, Abigail, Olivia, Madison and Jason, Jr.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street(Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 6:30 pm. with visitation from 3 to 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of John may be made to the March of Dimes, Massachusetts Chapter, 114 Turnpike Rd., Suite 202, Westborough, MA 01581. His death was not related to his weight.

Obituary

John Rapoza died Tuesday at the Boston Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a son of the late Manuel and Methyl (Haskell) Rapoza, he was raised and educated in Brockton. John was an avid card player and a Trekkie.

He is survived by a son, Jason and his wife Miranda of Whitman and two daughters, Melissa Kominsky and her husband Michael of Middleboro and Ashleigh Rapoza of Whitman, six grandchildren, Cassie, MJ, Abigail, Olivia, Madison and Jason, Jr., four sisters, Edna Burr of Brockton, Sheila DeMello of Florida, Beverly Gento and her husband Ron of Brockton, Patricia Williams and her husband Tom of Falmouth, two brothers, Charles Rapoza and his wife Kim of Brockton and Thomas Rapoza and his wife Joyce of Brockton and several nieces and nephews.
