John F. Raymond, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, his 76th birthday. He was the beloved partner of Kathleen Asacker for the past 46 years. Born July 7, 1945 he was the son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Fader) Raymond. Mr. Raymond was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1963. He enjoyed attending classic car shows with his friends and listening to music, especially Pink Floyd. Most of all he enjoyed being a Papa and spending time with his loving grandchildren. In addition to his longtime partner Kathleen Asacker, he was the devoted father of Rebecca Raymond and her partner James Smith and John Raymond; loving grandfather of Jaxson Raymond, James Smith, III., and Ryann Smith; and brother of Barbara Anne Larsen, Elizabeth W. Baker and Pamela S. Young. He was the brother of the late Ronald B. Raymond, Lorraine E. Criddle and Joan Lanovara. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St.,(Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Monday, July 12th from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family.
