Obituary

John M. “Jay” Rideout, III, age 54, of Brockton, died peacefully Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home following a period of failing health. Jay was born and raised in Brockton, a son of the late John M. and Cecilia (Monroe) Rideout, Jr. A graduate of Brockton High School, he was a very giving person who always put others before himself and was a father figure to his family and friends. Jay loved watching all the Boston sport teams and playing scratch tickets.
Jay is survived by three brothers Jerry, Robby and Jimmy Rideout and his wife Judi all of Brockton; two nephews Tyler and Daniel Clouser and one great nephew Dominic Clouser.
Following cremation, visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday October 11 from 2-4pm.
