John F. Ryan, 77, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at West Acres under Hospice Care. He was the loving husband of Linda A. Ryan. Born June 13, 1941, in Boston, he was the son of the late John Ryan and the late Mary(Butler) Ryan. John was a hard worker. He went to school for printing and worked at Spaulding Moss Printing Company in Westward, Mass. for 36 years. John later worked at Heights Crossing in Brockton before retiring. He was a loyal Patriots fan and avid animal lover. He had a love of history and learning about his family heritage. John is survived by his wife, Linda A. Ryan; his sister Catherine Mulkern of Las Vegas and her husband Kevin; his daughter Maryanne Brodeur of Las Vegas and her husband Robert; his son Jack Sarro of Kingston, Mass. and his wife Suzanne. He is survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. John was the father of the late Edward Ryan of Londonderry, N. H. He was also the brother of the late Edward Ryan, the late Anne Paiva, the late James Ryan, the late Mary Ryan, the late Patricia Reed, and the late George Ryan (died at birth). Donations can be made to Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts located in Brockton, Massachusetts. A small private memorial to be held at a later date.
