Obituary

John M. Sampson, 67, of Brockton, passed away at his home on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Born in Stoughton, and raised in Brockton, he was the beloved son of the late Deane C. and Mary V. (Burke) Sampson.

Before retiring, John worked in construction within the home improvement industry.

An avid fisherman, John also enjoyed golfing, frequent trips to Las Vegas and playing darts with his close group of friends. Above all, he had a deep love for music and cherished spending time with his family. Known for his warm and easy-going personality, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. John was a proud member of the Bertocci Memorial Club and the Club National of Brockton.

He is survived by his two daughters, Krystal Blanchard of Florida and Kandyce Sampson and her wife Roxane Bolton of Teaticket. He also leaves his siblings, Karen Sampson, Deane Sampson, Jr., Margaret Poliseno, Deana Porter and her husband Gary, Diane Houde and her husband Michael and Tara Sampson and her husband Anthony Sergio. John was the grandfather of Autumn, Krystal and Michael and a loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Karlton Sampson.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on December 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the Bertocci Memorial Club, 594 Montello Street, in Brockton.
